The wrist twister is an effective way to train the forearms. A weight can be hung on the hook, after which you can lower it by turning the handles and raise it again. For this movement, the forearms have to work hard and the acidification will also occur quickly.
The pin has a diameter of approximately 68mm at the bottom, so that all types of weight discs with an inner diameter of up to 50mm can be used on it. With a maximum load of 18kg, this will provide more than enough challenge when training the forearms.
The weight hangs on a wide band that runs over an eccentric attachment, which means that the resistance also varies during the exercise, making the challenge even greater. The length of the band is 94cm and at the lowest point you can continue turning, causing the band to roll up in the other direction, putting a different strain on your forearms. The total width is 40cm with two wide handles for sufficient grip.

Our experience
Our experience
I am a big fan of climbing in nature, but the possibilities in the Netherlands are limited, which is why I regularly go to the bouldering hall as an alternative. For climbing, good condition in the forearms and a firm grip are very important. In order to get the most out of these climbing sessions, I also try to train for that in the meantime.
The wrist twister is a godsend for me as it gives a different experience than with a hangboard or handgrippers and you can therefore give another dimension to your training. What surprised me the most is how quickly my arms started to sour even with a low weight.
