The peanut massage is a simple way to independently massage muscles, tendons and connective tissue. The peanut is rolled onto the area to be massaged between the body and the floor or wall and helps to improve blood circulation and loosen adhesions in the muscles, which can also reduce muscle pain.
The peanut consists of two round balls that are connected to each other in the middle by a thickening.
The peanut is available in three sizes:
- Small 6cm diameter and 12cm long
- Medium 8cm diameter and 16cm long
- Large 12cm diameter and 24cm long
Depending on the muscle group and region where the peanut is used, a smaller or larger version may be useful.
The ball is made of a lightweight EPP plastic that resembles polystyrene but is many times stronger, making it suitable for a firm massage.

Our experience
I came across this product through my girlfriend who has been using it for many years to relieve pain in her neck. I already had a foam roller myself, but especially with my back I noticed that it often just couldn't reach the right places, which the peanut does.
I regularly use the medium size for my upper back and calves, my girlfriend usually uses the large size for her lower back and the small size for her neck.
